Due to this interest of yours, you have many years of experience in leading the creation and refinement of value stream architecture blueprints, designs and patterns, aligning with the digital strategies. You inspire digital product and platform teams to develop new ideas, concepts, and strategical commitments as they design, build and deploy features and solutions.

You know how to build solid business relationships through co-creation and you have developed good leadership skills with ability to collaborate and influence to promote a common purpose – creating customer value through digital possibilities. Sounds like you?

· Proven advanced training in information technology, computer science or equivalent.
· Minimum 8 years of experience from product and engineering organizations in a leading position (e. g. technology/enterprise architect) and minimum 5 years of experience in building & designing internet facing distributed systems
· An understanding of the Chinese IT landscape
· Proven enterprise architecture responsibility stretching across larger areas (value streams/domains) in a company with global stretch and worked with senior leadership
· Knowledge of Microsoft based technologies (Azure Cloud etc.)
· Demonstrable experience in working in an Agile and DevOps working set-up
· Knowledge across a range of different technology stacks, tools, ideally applied within a retail sector, and can change direction based on new ideas, approaches and strategies
· Demonstrable experience and knowledge of at least one architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
· Experience in design and delivery of service-oriented architectures with modern development processes
· Extensive knowledge and experience of designing digital architecture blueprints
· Delivery experience of open source or cloud-based solutions
· Effective communication in English and interpersonal abilities Key responsibilities (title) What you'll be doing day to day Key responsibilities (text) The responsibility of the Value Stream Architect is to develop and update the architecture landscape for a value stream. You will be a key contributor to the shaping of our Digital Roadmap and set the course with strategic direction, blueprints, principles, and standards. Based on this work, you will guide our Digital organization to implement end-to-end delivery of digital products and platforms.

What you’ll do every day:

· Evaluate enterprise digital products and vendor solutions for onboarding to the Digital landscape, establishing a technology roadmap that aligns with the organization.
· Promote implementation of the architecture roadmap according to plan, minimizing technical debt and maintaining a close feedback loop, while ensuring adherence to agreed architecture standards, principles, and the overall blueprint of the value stream.
· Ensure technology architecture designs and patterns account for non-functional requirements such as reliability, scalability, performance, and resilience, and translate business and information models into reliable and robust data architecture.
· Design and drive implementation of data security measures (including access controls, data encryption, and other strategies to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability) and the overall blueprint for how data is stored, managed, integrated, and accessed across the organization, adhering to data privacy regulations.
· Design and drive implementation of end-to-end data flows and processes for integrating data from various sources, utilizing Extract, Transform, and Load methodologies to ensure consistent and unified data across the organization.
· Monitor and optimize the performance of data storage and processing systems, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to ensure efficient data access and retrieval.
· Support and organize teams following Agile and DevOps principles to implement, evolve, support, and own the software and system components to Digital quality standards, while contributing to building a digital mindset and an engineering culture that is accountability and results oriented.
