Enterprise Auto Sales Manager

Drive Auto is looking for an experienced seller with deep expertise in digital marketing and audience targeting for the automotive industry. Experience selling to local Tier 3 dealerships is needed, and experience/contacts with regional Tier 2 associations is beneficial. Existing contacts within the auto industry are highly desired. We are looking for prospectors and closers with a proven record of closing and retaining business. The winning candidate will both prospect for business on their own as well as work leads generated by an internal prospecting/biz-dev department. This position is a remote role with no in-office expectation, but in-person prospecting and client meetings is a regular expectation, as well as occasional overnight travel.

 

Uncapped, ongoing commissions on closed and retained revenue.

 

Specific Duties Include:

Through your own efforts, prospect, close, retain, and grow new business (in-person, if within a reasonable driving distance) Follow up on company-generated leads and appointments to close, retain, and grow new business Create custom packages and solutions for clients based on business needs, using existing company capabilities  Collaborate with team members to ensure sales and service excellence for all owned accounts Track revenue-generating activities within the CRM (Salesforce) and regularly supply sales outlooks and revenue forecasts Occasional overnight travel to meet clients and attend conferences and company meetings (less than 10%) Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Desired Skills/Experience:

Automotive industry experience is required (experience working within a dealership is a plus) Digital marketing experience is required (SEM, Facebook/Instagram, OTT/CTV, etc., and certifications are a plus) Outside sales experience in both generating and closing business through your own efforts is required Experience using CRM software is required (Salesforce experience is a plus) Experience using Microsoft Office software (Excel and PowerPoint is required, Teams experience is preferred) Knowledge of automotive-related customer data platforms, websites, marketing platforms, and equity mining platforms is preferred  Experience with IHS Polk data (or similar) is a plus

 

Qualifications:

Required 5+ years of automotive industry experience (a focus on local dealerships is preferred) Required 4+ years of experience in digital media/marketing Required 3+ years of outside sales experience within the automotive industry

The base salary compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $125,000 plus commission. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
