Enterprise Business Development Manager

The Enterprise Business Development Manager identifies and builds relationships with potential regional and national customers in order to win new, profitable business for CoolSys’ Professional Solutions Division in targeted markets, nationwide. This position is accountable for meeting assigned revenue and margin targets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manages entire sales process from lead generation through closing, effectively developing and managing sales pipeline to achieve annual revenue and margin/sales targets. Research market s to identify potential leads, under-served markets, and potential untapped and underutilized revenue opportunities that are aligned with the Company’s strategy. Forms relationships with customers resulting in profitable sales of CoolSys services to new customers. Establishes strong working relationships with local, regional, and national Operations Leaders to help ensure alignment of growth objectives. Works with the Director of Business Development & VP of Sales to develop an annual new customer and sales growth plan with monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics. Works with the Director of Business Development & VP of Sale to proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer and regional market needs on an ongoing basis. Complies with all required sales processes including operating within approved pricing parameters and keeping our CRM software (Salesforce) current. Complies with all customer onboarding processes when adding new customers to the company’s portfolio. Responsible for partnering with Sales Operations Team for successful and seamless onboarding of new national customers. Forms deep, long-term relationships with target customers resulting in profitable conversion to CoolSys Enterprise Account Management Team and establishing CoolSys as a “trusted partner”. Represents CoolSys at relevant trade shows and industry association meetings and conferences, as required. Performs other duties and projects as assigned and directed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field preferred, or solid work experience Minimum of 10+ years in multiple-solution sales, including demonstrated success adding new customers to a company’s portfolio Prior experience and success selling energy & carbon emissions reduction solutions for multi-location clients. Sales experience working with C-level executives Ability to generate leads, develop sales strategies, manage all phases of sales process and close new business Experience selling into food retail, retail, restaurants, industrial, and intuitional markets. Knowledge of commercial and industrial MEPR building systems design engineering, energy and emissions reductions solutions. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM software program is preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism Ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set and balance competing priorities Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule to meet objectives Ability to travel 50% of the time Join Us Minimum of 8+ years in multiple-solution sales, including demonstrated success adding new national/regional customers to a company’s portfolio Prior experience and success selling service and maintenance agreements for multi-location clients is required. Sales experience working with C-level executives Sales experience working with Fortune 1000 companies Ability to generate leads, develop sales strategies, manage all phases of sales process and close new business Experience selling into food retail, retail, restaurants, industrial, life sciences, and institutional markets is preferred Knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC/R is preferred, along with general knowledge/experience with BMS and EMS related systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM software program Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism Ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set and balance competing priorities Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop forecasts. Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule and the work schedules of others on a short-term and long-term basis in order to meet objectives.
