EBI Analyst I – HVTI

As an EBI Analyst I, you will support HVTI Cardiovascular Medicine to support analytical needs with patient access, slot utilization, volume and opportunities for growth.
A caregiver in this position works 7:30am – 5:00pm.
Must have SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Office experience.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Function as a primary resource for department chairs, administrators and regional hospital administration regarding the development of business intelligence tools.
Coordinate with EBI developers to identify data sourcing and apply business rules in the deployment of dashboards and other BI tools.
Maintain complex reporting systems and provide timely and accurate reporting for online dashboards.
Serve as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of clinical and hospital operations and financial functions of clinical centers as related to utilization management and operational performance through dashboards and other reporting structures.
Utilize dashboard software and assist in the creation of summary and detail reports for online dashboards and other platforms for all levels of the Cleveland Clinic.
Maintain the quality and data integrity of the reports, making improvements and adjustments as needed.
Interpret and present data analysis results including explanation of statistical and financial techniques used, assumptions made and summary of results.
Document methods and interpretation of results for future reference.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
A high school diploma/GED and four years of database development or analytical experience may substitute the education requirement.
An associate’s degree and two years of database development or analytical experience may substitute the education requirement.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Ability to research and troubleshoot problems.
Proficiency with various applications, including Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Understanding of data warehousing and t-SQL programming.
