Enterprise Communications Associate
Overview

Provides support to the Enterprise Communications Team in developing all internal communications in support of the goals and objectives of VNSNY. Keeps employees informed by gathering and sorting data and documents; designing, writing, editing, and proofreading news releases, newsletters, brochures, flyers; arranging for delivery and distribution; and entering and updating web and intranet information. Works under general supervision.


Responsibilities
Supports the development of creative content for various department initiatives including, but not limited to, website, print, email and video projects. Develops and writes articles/emails as assigned. Ensures procurement of photography assets for use in communications and assists in the production of video assets.Plans information programs by identifying audiences and defining information needs. Coordinates and helps distribute VNSNY communications and events.Manages corporate video screens including posting messages of videos and billboard. Supports on-going maintenance of technology.Maintains internal communications database by entering, verifying, and backing-up information.Supports management of employee events, including interfacing with public relations company and Zoom producersCoordinates logistics for department meetings, orientation, focus groups, training, etc. Enrolls participants, sends notifications, prepares or oversees the preparation of agendas, attendance rosters, materials/manuals; makes arrangements for facility set-up, equipment and supplies, and travel as needed. Coordinates and compiles bi-weekly status report.Monitors inventory of departmental supplies, advises management on the need to reorder; completes appropriate forms, and follows-up with vendor to ensure supplies are received in a timely manner.Participate in any special projects and performs other duties, as needed.
Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field or the equivalent work experience required.

Experience:  Minimum three years of experience in health or administrative experience required. Experience with project management related to communications, preferred. Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills required. Experience with computer and texting skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with Wordpress, and SharePoint preferred. Ability to work minimal supervision and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required. Be proactive and have a positive, can-do, and flexible attitude.
