Job Description:At Regions, the Corporate Compliance Division Manager resides in the Compliance and Regulatory Risk group which is responsible for developing a strategy, process and practices to facilitate, monitor, test and oversee effective compliance practices to align the organization to meet new and existing regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Consults with the various business groups on the design and implementation of first line of defense activities, controls, processes and proceduresComplies with applicable laws and regulations and uses knowledge of applicable banking laws, regulations and guidance to partner with and direct business management in the timely identification, mitigation, resolution and reporting/escalation of existing, emerging and upstream regulatory risks and issuesManages a team of compliance group managers and specialists who are capable of researching regulatory questions posed by the businessReviews documents and identifies compliance-related issues through evaluation of policies and practices and development of alternatives for resolutionDevelops and enhances the compliance program to mitigate compliance risks and ensure sustainable controls commensurate with the risk appetite and growth of RegionsMaintains continuous dialogue and transparent communications with supervisory authorities on compliance-related mattersMay act as the business group Chief Conflicts Officer with oversight of conflicts identification and tracking activitiesThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
Fifteen (15) years of financial services and regulatory compliance experience
Management experience
Prior experience working with regulatory agencies
Preferences
Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designationSkills and Competencies

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
