What You Will Do

 

We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role is crucial in developing and optimizing database solutions that support our business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Develop and optimize database solutions to store and retrieve vital company data.

- Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality.

- Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications.

- Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.

- Design conceptual and logical data models.

- Conduct tests and troubleshoot to improve system performance.

- Define security and backup procedures to ensure data protection and compliance.

- Coordinate with the Data Science team to identify future data needs.

- Perform prototypes/POC to validate new solutions and methods.

- Provide peer reviews, mentoring, and support to the software development team.

- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.

 

What You Need

 

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

- 4-7 years of implementation experience with P&C Insurance software applications.

- Strong experience in SQL and relational database design.

- Familiarity with business intelligence, ETL tools, and strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL or T-SQL preferred.

 

Salary Range: $83,896  - $125,844

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
