Enterprise Data Engineer

Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Provides strategic and tactical decision support to stakeholders at all levels of Avera Health. In collaboration with Lead and Senior Enterprise Data Engineers, the Enterprise Data Engineer uses knowledge of EMR workflows and other third-party software to develop informational models and reports/presentations of critical corporate, financial, and clinical information. **What you will do** + Design and develop information models, schemas, code patterns, frameworks, algorithms, UI conventions for financial, clinical, and organizational data warehousing, particularly involving EMR systems, processes, and workflows. + Develop the business and clinical intelligence architectures to enable fact-based decision making while supporting ad-hoc analysis and insight generation. + Perform detailed analysis of high-level requirements and document design specifications. + Develop and implement designs in collaboration with other team members within and outside of the Avera IT community. + Design and develop OLAP and OLTP systems and data warehouses. + Design and Support data ETL subsets of the Avera Data Repository for operational Business and Clinical Intelligence teams. + Competently employ the analytics/data visualization platform standards at Avera (Visual Insight, Tableau, Power BI), as well as Microsoft tools and IDEs (SSRS, SSMS, Visual Studio, Excel)Becomes and remains knowledgeable concerning data integration standards (i.e., HL7)Assists with integration engine product installation and configuration (Summit). + Performs data analysis/mapping/normalization and related interface project planning, design, development, documentation, testing, implementation, and go-live execution. + Works with management in determining the strategic goals of Avera Information Technology and the Enterprise Data Analysis Team from a data analysis, reporting, and decision support perspective. + Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
