Enterprise Distribution Center Manager

We do this by being deeply knowledgeable, fully capable, and always dependable, and our associates are the driving force behind this commitment. **Job Summary** Responsible for staffing, organizing, and directing operations for a large enterprise Distribution Centers (EDC) and/or Ship Hubs within a specific region. Acts as strategic partner with logistics and supply chain management in establishing and adhering to operating budgets. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities** + Reviews and manages EDC cost productivity, driving toward efficient labor and delivery costs per unit handled and delivered. Manages EDC expenses to achieve monthly and annual budget/plan as assigned by the Company. + Plans, develops, and implements people strategy in conjunction with company for talent management and development, including recruitment, selection, and disciplinary procedures. + Provides effective leadership to multiple facilities within a specific region, to ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA and other governmental regulatory agencies while complying with company policies concerning health and safety. + Utilizes data and analytics to provide process improvement recommendations to assigned functions or departments. Implements and executes on process improvement action plans (especially for productivity and quality) within departments within the EDC. + Manages the facility's financial operations by authorizing and managing expenditures in relation to the budget. Monitors asset use. Generates and/or evaluates business reports. + Effectively facilitates strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders across the organization (including finance, purchasing, transportation, etc), effectively developing, implementing, and sustaining key organizational objectives. + Develops, plans, and manages the facility's business plan in order to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, and safety) and to identify potential for continuous improvement within complex operations. **Nature and Scope** + Solutions require analysis and investigation. + Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors. + Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff. **Work Environment** + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. **Education and Experience** + Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines. **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous experience in logistics or operations and management in large, complex, multi-shift big box distribution center. + Experience in new facility start-up. + Extensive knowledge of operations processes. + Supervisory or people management experience. + Extensive OSHA, DOT, ADA, and local regulatory knowledge. + Experience in a senior management role within an operations/ distribution/logistics/retail environment. + Experience developing and managing budgets, managing P&L, monitoring regulatory compliance, and analyzing financial/operational data. + Senior-level experience managing multiple functional areas (e.g., receiving, shipping, QA, order filling) within a warehouse or logistics network. + Spanish language skills are highly desired + This position is on-site in Perris, CA. \#LI-SH1 If you’re looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
