Enterprise Endpoint Solutions (R112) is a pivotal component of MITRE's Enterprise Technology organization. This department is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge end-user computing solutions that encompass software, hardware, and security services across the corporation. R112 plays a crucial role in provisioning and managing Windows, macOS, and mobile endpoint technologies, ensuring seamless integration and operation within MITRE's complex IT infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution
+ Plan, develop, and oversee endpoint-related strategic outcomes.
+ Support the Director in building and maturing strategic relationships with partners to enhance Enterprise Technology’s influence and capabilities.
Growth Strategy
+ In partnership with the Director, develop and shape the department's work program to achieve specific Enterprise Technology strategic outcomes and manage new business opportunities for extending capabilities and services throughout MITRE.
+ Collaborate with Department Chief Engineers to ensure technical quality for all work assigned to the department as part of the work program.
Domain Expertise
+ Provide technical domain-specific knowledge, leadership, and influence stakeholders to drive the Division's outcomes forward.
+ Maintain broad knowledge of related endpoint operating systems, management tools, cloud related services, mobility solutions/capabilities, available system metrics, EDR/data protection implementations, and operational considerations.
Financial Management
+ Manage the department budget in compliance with policies to support strategic decision-making at the department level.
+ Provide oversight and guidance for project budgets and other cost-bearing center objectives, focusing on driving down operational costs through continual process improvement to related department IT services.
Stakeholder and Partner Engagement
+ Develop close working relationships and serve as a trusted advisor in partnership with the Director, Senior Managers, Chief Engineers, and Group Leaders.
+ Collaborate with other Centers to extend shared service capabilities and re-use existing end-user computing services.
+ Act as a liaison with other corporate division chartered to protect and manage enterprise risk extended to endpoint related activities.
Leadership and Team Management
+ Work with department group leaders to ensure that all staff supporting department endpoint services are assigned projects and fully planned.
+ Represent the needs and unique perspectives of staff to Division leadership.
+ Advocate for department competencies and establish new work opportunities.
+ Ensure the hiring, development, and shaping of skills, capabilities, and diversity needed within the department’s workforce.
+ Engage staff who fall short of corporate and department expectations and initiate appropriate and timely actions to address poor performance.
+ Lead staff management, including recruiting, establishing performance goals, appraising staff performance, and providing opportunities for career development.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 10 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 7 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
+ Demonstrated application of best practices in IT Operations and security principles of least privilege.
+ Proven leadership experience working in a large enterprise IT organization.
+ Ability to develop trusted relationships and work collaboratively across functional areas and external organizations.
+ Experience in shaping and driving high-impact, high-quality technical solutions.
+ Success in developing, coaching, and leading people.
+ Experience in developing and executing a strategy.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Experience strengthening relationships through communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and decision-makers.
+ Experience supporting executive or high valued employees’ requirements, including coordinating and being accountable for end user computing experiences.
+ Experience managing enterprise technology solutions in a DoD-compliant environment (FIPS 800-171, 800-53, CMMC, or similar).
+ Ability to gain secret clearance within one year of hire.
+ This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with endpoint management solutions, network access technologies, and enterprise identity providers that enable zero trust principles for endpoints.
+ Experience managing VAR’s or contracted service providers.
+ Active DOD-Secret Clearance
