This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a pivotal member of the Global Quality Engineering team, this role ensures Cordis maintains its commitment to delivering innovative solutions and exceeding customer expectations. **Responsibilities** + Lead cross-functional teams through Lean Six Sigma projects, ensuring on-time and successful completion. + Develop and implement data-driven solutions to address operational inefficiencies and business challenges. + Train, mentor, and coach other team members in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. + Establish performance metrics and ensure consistent tracking of project impacts and outcomes. + Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities aligned with strategic objectives. + Communicate project progress, risks, and success stories to stakeholders at all organizational levels. + Maintain strict compliance with Cordis's policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations. + Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and shared accountability for success. + Responsible for communicating business-related issues and opportunities to the next level of management + For positions with supervisory responsibilities, ensure that subordinates follow all company alignments related to health, safety, and environmental practices and that all necessary resources are available and in good condition. + Responsible for complying with company procedures and policies and all Local, State and Federal Laws and Regulations. + Comply with quality procedures, laws and regulations to applicable markets + Performs other assigned tasks, as needed. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). + Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with a proven track record of successful project delivery. + 8+ years of experience leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives in manufacturing environments. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in statistical tools (e.g., Minitab). **REQUIREMENTS FOR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES** + Proficient in Lean Six Sigma principles and tools (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping). + Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority. + Exceptional communication, training, and presentation skills. + Experience with quality management systems (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820). + Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable. **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS of the POSITION** + Occasional travel to manufacturing and operational sites (approx. 25%). + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. + Comfortable with wearing necessary safety equipment in industrial environments. **JOIN OUR TALENT COMMUNITY** Joining our Talent Community is a great way to receive company news and updates, as well notifications on career opportunities and events that interest you!
