The Enterprise Networking Services (ENS) Engineer will need to be a F5 subject matter expert with the ability to troubleshoot security suite solutions related to routing, load balancing, and application delivery.  The selected individual will work within a team to make recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation.  The engineer will work with on-site personnel and other network specialists to troubleshoot issues.  The engineer will be responsible for assisting with maintaining connectivity for DHA hospitals and working with internal and external customers daily. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a F5 subject matter expert for all tenants in the DHA network.Perform routine administrative and maintenance functions (install, configure, patch, update, etc.) on F5 platforms.Additional F5 Duties include:Support and creation of iRules.Creation of Virtual Servers, Pools, iRules, Nodes, etc.Creation of Device Groups and Device Trust with Trust, CA Certificates, Identity Certificates, and Traffic Groups.Configure Network parameters including, interfaces, Routes, Self IP’s, Packet Filters, Trunks, Tunnels, VLANs, etc.Configure system parameters including, Configuration, Device Certificates, File/Disk/Software Management, License Updates, Users, etc.Management and creation of SSL certificates. Troubleshoot in preproduction and production environments.Monitor performance of remote and local systems to identify problems, and if needed, perform analysis to identify root cause of any performance issues and take appropriate corrective action to resolve issues.Develop scripts to automate manual tasks.Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience): 6+ years of experience with F5 platforms is required.Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required.Active Secret clearance required. Certification Requirements: IAT Level IISecurity Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SCCP)F5 OS CertificationExperience with F5 and creation of application specific iRules is required.Experience in managing SSL certificates is required.Strong log analysis and troubleshooting skills are required.Experience with network monitoring/management platforms.Experience with network management and monitoring tools.A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priority.
