Job Description: \n

Responsibilities\n

The EOM will plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations management to ensure alignment with AFCENT, USCENTCOM, and HQ Air Force requirements. The EOM's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n

Job duties: \n\nResponsible for the overall monitoring, status reporting and coordination of actions for the AFCENT enterprise network.\nProvide oversight and guidance to team of technical professionals responsible for supporting the AFCENT enterprise network.\nResponsible for the management of network performance and end-to-end service quality for the Network infrastructure.\nReviews and analyzes overall end-to-end network performance in order to maintain an acceptable level of network quality of service.\nParticipates in the assessment and selection of the network performance and management tools\/systems for existing and new network technologies and services.\nDevelop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on to respond to unexpected issues or\nplanned\/unplanned disruptions in AFCENT's support services, to include but not limited to power outages, hardware failures, natural disasters, etc.\nIdentify trends that may lead to service or network disruption and recommend remediation actions.\nConduct operational impact assessments of outages and potential \nCoordinate and manage authorized service interruptions with internal and external\n\n

Qualifications\n\nB.S. in related field and 3 or more years' relevant experience(preferred); OR 5 or more years of relevant experience AND IT operations\/services management, Unix\/Linux, HBSS, and Firewall experience. \nVCTA, CCNA, and ITIL Foundations required. \nActive TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility required.\n\n
