What You'll Do
Context & Overview:
We are seeking someone that is motivated and detail-oriented to play a critical role in supplier onboarding, and ensure prompt, accurate responses to inquiries in a fast-paced environment. This position is instrumental in fostering efficient vendor relationships, maintaining compliance, and supporting procurement operations. The role also offers potential involvement in buy desk activities as well as supporting supplier diversity initiatives, requiring adaptability and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have extensive supplier onboarding experience using supplier management software (Coupa is preferred) as well as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (SAP and Oracle). Procurement buying experience as well as familiarity with supplier diversity programs and initiatives is a plus. This position will be responsible for United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico procurement related operations and will report directly into the Global Procurement organization.
Duties & Responsbilities
The EP&P Analyst, NAMR Procurement Operations will be responsible for managing and streamlining the supplier onboarding process to ensure timely and accurate integration of new vendors. This role will interact closely with internal stakeholders of all levels within the company as well as external counterparts, so strong communication skills are required as well as the ability to quickly address and resolve inquiries to maintain seamless operations. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will excel in balancing operational responsibilities with strategic initiatives, ensuring supplier processes are efficient, diverse, and aligned with organizational goals. A fast-paced, adaptable approach will be key to thriving in this dynamic role.
Additional Responsibilities
Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met Act as a primary point of contact for supplier and stakeholder inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures Maintain clear and proactive communication in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Ability to communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders at all levels of the organization Engage closely with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of procurement deliverables Work effectively in a team environment to help contribute to the success of the procurement team. Support purchasing activities, including processing requisitions, managing purchase orders, and coordinating supplier communications Actively contribute to initiatives that promote supplier diversity, including tracking progress and engaging diverse suppliers
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/supply chain or related field5+ years of experience, with a minimum 5 or more years of relevant experience in a procurement environment for a large, decentralized organizationStrong understanding of supply chain processes, ERP systems, and best practicesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, which is crucial for data analysis, reporting, and managing procurement data.Experience with procurement-related software and eProcurement platforms (Coupa, Zycus, Ariba, etc.)Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication as clear, concise, and professional communication is essential for interacting with stakeholders, suppliers, and team members.Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.Responsiveness to meet tight deadlines and stakeholder expectationsDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on process optimization and complianceExemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationshipsAnalytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAdditional Qualifications:
