Enterprise Risk Consultant

Position Summary:
This position supports the activities of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. This includes developing and maintaining enterprise risk monitoring and reporting systems, conducting divisional risk assessments, providing analytical support to finance and risk areas, and coordinating operational risk functions. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management with significant internal client relationships with management of various business units.

Essential Responsibilities:
Job Function 1: Analyze, monitor and report divisional risk profiles - 60%

Conduct divisional risk reviews in accordance with established enterprise risk review program. Monitor divisional Key Risk Indicators. Investigate and report on threshold breaches. Support analysis for stress testing and capital allocation. Investigate incidents and monitor findings through remediation.

Job Function 2: Support Operational Risk Management Functions - 30%

Coordinate Business Continuity Planning process and documentation. Support Model Risk Management program. Evaluate Risk Acceptance requests and recommend appropriate action. Support estimation of Allowances for Loan and Lease Losses. Facilitate New Product Risk Assessments with management.

Job Function 3: Administrative Support for Enterprise Risk Management Committee - 10%

Track issues through remediation. Maintain the company's Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance systems. Periodically update risk appetite statements. Assist with ERM Meeting prep and minutes.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Minimum 3 years’ experience with lending, financial services operations management, financial institution risk management, or related capacities. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demands - Must be met with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Extended periods of time sitting at a desk and using office equipment. Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop for approximately 8 hours per day. Extended time is spent reviewing physical and electronic documents. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Periodically, may also do light lifting of supplies and materials which weighs in at approximately 20 lbs. Will spend most of time in an indoor environment.
