You will work with partners, important partners, and management to identify, translate and provide consultation on business opportunities that result in improved controls and results across all areas of the organization. Coordinate and facilitate medium to large-scale programs focused on mitigating risk by recommending improvements to processes/procedures and increasing general knowledge of controls within the company. Assesses risks, identifies and evaluates controls to ensure legal, regulatory and group requirements are upheld and risks are controlled. May assist more senior analysts with complex initiatives. You will report to the Enterprise Risk Manager.

 

What you do:

You will identify and evaluate risks within business processes

Facilitate risk assessment, walkthroughs and control identification workshops

Draft test programs to effectively test the design and operational effectiveness of the system of internal controls

Identify and communicate issues

You will present analysis and recommendations for improvement of the internal control environment to key stakeholders, including senior and executive management

You will collaborate with management on the development of action plans to ensure risks are mitigated appropriately

You will perform issue follow-up and escalation as appropriate

You will prepare reporting for senior management, boards and Allianz group

You will assist on projects related to other risk functions

 

What you bring:

4+ years of experience required in in audit, risk management, compliance or financial services

Basic understanding of IFRS/GAAP/Statutory accounting guidance as well as internal controls

Four-year degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Risk Management or equivalent experience
