Team Overview:
Join a team of seasoned sales leaders building our Enterprise Solutions business. Our Enterprise Solutions team partners directly with specific named enterprise accounts and our partner ecosystem to sell the Impinj platform, our IoT solution extending the Internet’s reach from the cloud, through edge connectivity devices, all the way to physical items. Through a consultative sales process, our Enterprise Sales team uses the Impinj platform to deliver RAIN, our best-in-market products, capabilities, and technology to deliver solutions that address business needs.
As a Senior Sales Director, you will be responsible for generating new and maintaining existing business at specific named Enterprise Accounts. This role requires strong communication skills and someone with the consultative know-how to ‘get in the arena’ with customers, learn their pain points, and partner to help them reimagine their business on the Impinj platform. Our ideal candidate is highly driven, collaborative, with a track record of success bringing on new logos.
What you will do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow Impinj platform sales at specific named enterprise accounts, aligning with overall company objectives and growth targets Build trusted, lasting relationships with the largest and most strategic enterprise customers in the US, through understanding and consultative partnership of how to transform their business needs and driving influence across all levels within the organization, up to the executive level decision makers Partner with our Solutions Engineer at critical stages in the engagement with enterprises and our partner ecosystem to earn preference for Impinj products and services Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams within Impinj and our partner ecosystem to deliver delightful experiences and meaningful business outcomes to enterprise customers Establish yourself as our in-market, trusted authority at these named enterprise customers, who is sought after by Impinj’s executive leadership, business development, product management, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to earn Impinj preference in enterprise and partner ecosystem Work with executives at named enterprise accounts as well as front line managers to learn of their business challenges and understand where and how Impinj can partner with the customer to bring value Gain and effectively communicate valuable insights within your customer base and our partner ecosystem to deliver impactful visibility into market needs and demand Be accountable for near- and long-term forecasts at the specific named enterprise accounts This role requires 40-50% domestic travelWhat you will bring:
Minimum 12+ years of rich experience in a technical sales or business development role, preferably RF/wireless Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field Demonstrated success with business impactful sales, delivering best-in class system and/or enterprise-level technical solutions Demonstrated success engaging with C-level contacts within Fortune 1000 companies Ability to quickly master and understand the UHF RFID ecosystem from End Users, SI, Service bureaus to Inlay manufacturers. Strong analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and create differentiated offerings that result in revenue generation A history of success solving complex global sales issues in collaboration with a team Prior experience with Salesforce.com our corporate online customer relationship management tool Excellent oral and written communication skillsCompensation and Benefits:

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $160,000.00-$255,000.00. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
