Job Summary:

The Workday Developer is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform. Must have strong financials and HCM experience in one or more ERP implementations and experience with at least one (1) Workday Finance and HCM implementation with solid skills in the Workday toolset while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security and attention to detail.
 

Essential Job Functions:

Gather business requirements from our Business Community & management -and convert the business requirements to technical specifications to include reports creation/analysis for enhanced business analysisManage and build reports and conduct data analysisConduct root cause analysis to determine an appropriate action plan for break/fix issuesConfigure and support Workday Finance and/or one or more of Customers, Projects, Timekeeping or Payroll modulesMaintain data integrity through all data transformations and transmissionsParticipate and support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionalitySupport the bi-annual upgrades processesAct as primary named support contact with Workday -managing communications with Workday Support

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of business analysis, technical business analysis &/or technical financials reportingStrongly prefer a Financial or ERP / Workday Financials background.Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university.Strong consideration will be given for candidates with a background in computer science, finance, or accountingExperience implementing and/or supporting Workday Finance and one or more associated modules –Customers, Projects, Payroll, or Timekeeping.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in Data Quality and Data Transformation with Workday Prism AnalyticsDemonstrated Expertise and functional awareness in managing Workday VNDLY, Adaptive Planning integrationsExperience integrating other 3rd party SaaS platform (ex: Salesforce) with Boomi integration platform strongly preferredAbility to manage multiple competing prioritiesExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent documentation skills (samples of nonproprietary documentation maybe be asked for review)Collaborative team playerProactive, with a sense of ownershipCommitment to quality and attention to detailWillingness to learn new functions and technologiesDemonstrated Expertise in the following Workday technologies:Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)Report Writer
