About the Role:
Fanatics Betting and Gaming is seeking an experienced Workplace IT Manager to lead our dynamic Enterprise Systems team. This strategic and technical role focuses on leading a team responsible for the management, integration, and automation of SaaS platforms, identity and access management solutions, and overall workplace infrastructure. You'll ensure scalable, secure, and efficient operations aligned closely with company growth and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Facilitate Agile rituals, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, while guiding career growth and providing performance feedback.Act as the escalation point for complex system issues, driving swift resolution and ensuring long-term stability.Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance on technical and career development.Technical Ownership & Platform Integration:
Own and manage Okta identity management, including lifecycle management, SCIM integrations, workflows, API based integrations, and enforcing MFA/SSO.Lead automation and integration of critical SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Zoom, and other critical business platforms; focusing on efficiency, security, and compliance.Ensure proper transition of operational support to the IT service desk to maintain consistent support levels.Collaboration and Strategic Alignment:
Partner closely with product owners, FBG engineering, IT support teams, and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with broader business strategies.Partnering with information security teams to embed security practices within solutions.Lead vendor evaluations, ensuring investments in technology and infrastructure are future-proof, scalable, and cost-effective.Champion documentation and knowledge-sharing practices using platforms like Atlassian Confluence.Partner with other Fanatics operating companies to ensure alignment and integration between operating companies, ensuring solutions are secure, supportable, and meet company business objectives.Participate in engineering agile rituals to maintain alignment and transparency across teams.Experience and Qualifications:
Required:
5+ years of experience managing technical or engineering teams, particularly within workplace IT or infrastructure environments.Deep expertise with Okta-based identity management solutions, SaaS integrations, and automation techniques.Hands-on experience with platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian tools, Zoom, and MDM solutions (WorkspaceOne, Jamf).Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and proficiency in automation and systems management tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.Preferred:
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator or Professional.Exposure to ITSM tools and monitoring/alerting solutions for SaaS environments.Leadership & Mindset:
