DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES-


A.     The CPA Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1.      Performing highly advanced (senior-level) technical analysis work in support of CPA’s Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) and the ERP program; 

2.      Providing technical support for CAPPS HR/Payroll (which includes Taleo Recruit and Learn modules);

3.      Providing technical support for CAPPS Financials;

4.      Providing technical support related to CAPPS Central Agencies and CAPPS Hub Agencies;

5.      Providing technical support for all CAPPS related tools and processes;

6.      Providing technical oversight and quality assurance over CPA’s CAPPS managed services provider;

7.      Monitoring and ensuring that the CAPPS architectural solution and infrastructure sizing are aligned with CPA requirements;

8.      Assisting with general CAPPS maintenance technical activities;

9.      Assisting with gathering, developing, and documenting of technical system requirements;

10.  Communicating technical requirements to functional and/or technical staff;

11.  Reviewing, assessing, and developing technical processes;

12.  Providing support related to SLA notifications, monitoring, environment analysis, hardware/software evaluation, network troubleshooting, migration paths, coding standards, security standards, compare reports, application change management review, and batch scheduling review;

13.  Assisting with troubleshooting technical issues related to the software application and/or supporting infrastructure;

14.  Assisting with and supporting testing activities, as needed (e.g., system, UAT, accessibility, performance, etc.);

15.  Assisting with and supporting various upgrades (e.g., PeopleSoft image, PeopleSoft Fluid, PeopleTools, etc.);

16.  Assisting with various activities related to CAPPS deployment efforts;

17.  Assisting with the review of deliverables for quality and completeness on complex, cross-agency projects;

18.  Assisting with special project support provided to internal and/or external customers as may be needed; and

19.  Performing other related Work as assigned.                 

B.     The Worker must meet the following minimum experience and qualification requirements

Minimum Requirements: Experience and Qualifications

Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and/or FCM 9.1 or higher, People Tools 8.53 or higher, Peoplecode, Application Designer, SQL, PS Query, SQR, Application Engine, and Oracle 11 or higher

Experience in PeopleSoft Security, Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) & Self-service (MSS, ESS)

Experience as technical architect for any or all of the following: Integration Hub, HR, Payroll, Financial systems

Experience managing or leading technical projects

Extensive knowledge of and/or experience with data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design, ETL tools, processes and methodology

Experience overseeing and validating change control processes through a system life cycle

3

Experience with batch scheduling products utilized with PeopleSoft applications

 

C.     The Worker may meet the following minimum preferred experience and qualifications requirements:

D.     The Worker may possess, at a minimum, the following types of skillsets:

1.      Ability to work with internal and external customers, project managers, business and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and CPA contracted vendors;

2.      Technical expertise related to any or all of the following: Oracle PeopleSoft (9.x), Oracle Taleo, Oracle tools (e.g., Database, Golden Gate, RAC, etc.), Business Objects, AIX or Linux, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Data Warehouse;

3.      Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;

4.      Ability to collaborate with various types of SMEs, stakeholders, programmers, and developers in order to assist with and/or design, develop, implement and support complex business solutions;

5.      Ability to work independently in a team environment with local and remote teams;

6.      Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary; and

 

7.      Ability to prepare and present technical information to various levels of SMEs, stakeholders, and executives.
