Working directly with our Senior IT Manager of Enterprise Architecture, you'll have the unique opportunity to influence technology decisions that impact operations across 70+ countries. Our EA group isn't isolated in an ivory tower - we're deeply embedded with solution architects, IT leaders, and business stakeholders, ensuring our technology choices drive real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Shape PPG's technical future by designing cloud-native reference architectures and creating architectural patterns that will guide our global technology initiativesSupport the evolution of our innovative AWS-based EA platform that connects and streamlines our enterprise architecture toolsBuild bridges between technology and business by communicating complex architectural concepts to diverse stakeholdersDefine and champion technical standards that balance innovation with enterprise stabilityMentor solution architects and provide strategic guidance on mission-critical projectsDrive our cloud transformation initiatives, helping modernize legacy systems and implement cutting-edge solutions

What you'll bring:

Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, and BedrockStrong development background with Python, PostgreSQL, and modern API designProven experience with cloud-native architectures, including microservices, containers, and serverless solutionsExperience with enterprise architecture tools (LeanIX experience is a plus)Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience3+ years in technical architecture or similar rolesMost importantly: A passion for transforming traditional enterprises through technology innovation
