**Description** We’re looking for a communicator to join the Leidos corporate Communications and Marketing team who is highly skilled at developing persuasive content for multiple channels that will engage key stakeholders in the stories of our company’s technology solutions. ​ ​Working with colleagues on our technology teams and in Communications, this role will be primarily responsible for creating and distributing engaging content that supports Leidos technology priorities. The content will be tailored as needed for owned and earned channels and would involve compelling written and visual elements. While external stakeholders are the primary audiences, the content must also resonate with employees. This role will also be called on to collaborate with certain technology leaders for some planning activities. Finally, the content generated by the person in this role should stand as examples for the broader Communications and Marketing team of telling our stories more creatively. ​ **​** **Primary Responsibilities** ​ + ​Manage creation of multimedia content supporting Leidos’ technology priorities that’s tailored to key audiences and the paid, earned, shared, owned channels the company uses. Content will be determined by the corporate-level technology strategy that’s developed in conjunction with the enterprise technology communications manager and colleagues in the businesses + ​Create content distribution strategies that lead to Leidos technology stories appearing in traditional and non-traditional channels, as appropriate, so our messages reach key audiences where they consume information + ​Collaborate with social media, marketing, and technology communications colleagues to identify and use appropriate metrics in the development, distribution, and refinement of the content strategy for our technology priorities ​ **​** **Basic** **Qualifications** ​ + ​Bachelor's degree in communications or related field. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered. + 4+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field + Ability to distill complex topics and technical details into accessible narratives that feed compelling pieces of content + ​Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills + ​Demonstrated proficiency developing and creating engaging content for various channels including social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases + ​Ability to work with social media colleagues so content is optimized for placements, including search results + ​Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) ​ **​** **Preferred Qualifications** + ​3+ years of experience working with multimedia storytelling and digital communications + ​Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field or relevant work experience + ​Demonstrated expertise in a highly regulated organization, preferably in a technology sector + ​Strong project management skills and attention to detail **​** **Original Posting:** February 28, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
