Entertainment Cabana Sales Agent - The Cosmopolitan

THE JOB:

As an Entertainment Cabana Sales Agent, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier service by promoting and selling cabanas and other premium seating options to guests at MGM Resorts' exciting pool venues. You’ll assist guests in planning and enhancing their poolside experience, ensuring satisfaction from reservation to departure. This role requires a combination of sales skills, customer service, and attention to detail to meet guests' expectations.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $16.00 per hour +commission eligible

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Software & Event Programming: Maintain and program software for cabanas and daybeds, ensuring seamless operations for special events.

Guest Reservations & Inquiries: Assist guests with phone and email reservations, handling inquiries for special events to provide a superior guest experience.

Sales & Revenue Optimization: Drive sales by reviewing rates for special events, collaborating with teams to optimize revenue on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Event Coordination & F&B Management: Confirm and finalize food and beverage selections for guest reservations, creating event orders for seamless execution.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with the pool team, entertainment, and casino marketing to manage VIP placements, adjust inventory, and execute marketing initiatives to maximize revenue.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience.

2+ years of experience in Administrative Sales or Hospitality in a high-volume hotel.

Experience in concierge, front desk, or customer service roles, with a passion for interacting with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.

Has excellent communication and sales skills.

Comfortable handling repetitive tasks such as phone calls, emails, and guest interactions, while efficiently managing multiple responsibilities.

Ability to walk around the pool deck, check in with guests frequently, and ensure all aspects of their experience are top-notch.

Is detail-oriented and can manage multiple reservations and requests simultaneously.

Demonstrates strong customer service abilities, creating memorable experiences for guests.

Is a team player who collaborates with other departments to meet guest needs.

Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during high-volume periods.
