JOB SUMMARY:

Six Flags Over Texas is looking for an organized and dedicated individual to join the Entertainment Technical Services Team. As the Entertainment Stage Manager, you will be responsible for running assigned tracks for stage productions and special events, organize and lead the load in and load out of show product, assist with parade duties and lead other technical services projects as assigned. This individual will work closely with the entertainment production staff to ensure the smooth and safe installation of entertainment product and ensure the daily operation of the assigned shows and special projects.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Perform daily inspections of all scenic elements, lighting systems and special effectsRepair and correct any issues quickly and safely to ensure a safe guest experienceLead the technical services team in daily operational duties including new builds and repairs,Load-ins and load outs, system maintenance and other projects as assignedCommunicate with the stage management and production management team on any issues orSafety concerns or issuesOperate various vehicles, tools and equipment as assignedAdheres to safe work practices and policies that further the safety culture of the department and parkMust be available for extended work calls during specific times of the year

PREFERRED IN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must be at least 18 years oldHS diploma, Theater Education (BA) or (BFA) or equivalent experience preferredProficient in the following: Q-Lab, Programming + Automation + OperationElectrical wiring and load balancing; theater/arena riggingCarpentryUnderstand & hang a light plotLighting protocols and networking (DMX & Artnet)M32 + Wing Audio consoles and digital networking + Ultranet Personal Monitor SystemsMoving light technical skillsPro Tools 2021 for in-house recording sessionsETCP-CertifiedValid driver’s license to operate company vehicles, PIT equipment and parade floats
