Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of staging, rigging and other related equipment to be used for all entertainment events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of staging, rigging and other related equipment to be used for all entertainment eventsParticipates in the installation of all stationary, automated, and moveable sceneryProduces technical drawings for all scenic and prop elementsMaintains shop safety program and maintenance of all equipmentFabricates and repairs metal parts by weldingAssist with Training programs

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists other departments with safe operation of lift equipmentAssists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Must be able to work safely at 60’ or moreFabricates and repairs metal parts by weldingDrives vans and trucks up to 24 feet in lengthOperates fork trucks and lift equipmentAssists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Good communication skillsGood organizational and multi-tasking skillsKnowledge of the equipment used throughout the propertyMust have open work availability to workCertification in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom liftsVector works

Training Requirements:

Must be certified in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and climb for extended periods of timeMust be able to climb and work at heights that may exceed 60 feetMust be able to lift and move all necessary equipment up to 75 lbs.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptionsMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
