Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assist with installations and striking shows, production sets, park décor, special events and festivals.
· Perform system checks and follow startup & shutdown procedures for technical equipment.
· Prepare workspace and facilities for daily operation, including venue upkeep and cleanliness, show preparation, and special events.
· Perform maintenance of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and prepare and test equipment based on departmental needs.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:
· A varied skill set including general knowledge of Mixing Live Audio Productions, Theatrical Lighting, Carpentry, and painting
· Knowledge of Behringer audio consoles (X32, M32, Wing) are preferred
· Able to operate power tools correctly & safely
· A clear criminal background record and valid state driver’s license.
· Self-motivated and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
· Basic computer skills
· Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
· Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Must be able to walk long distances, stand for long periods, have excellent vision (Corrected, if applicable), work in high places, and safely lift a maximum of 50lbs. * Should not have a fear of heights
· OSHA10 Certification or must obtain such in 6months
· Must supply basic tools (Multi-Tool + Crescent wrench + Small Flashlight + Work Gloves)
· Willingness to be trained to operate forklifts & areal lifts such as manlifts/ Boom + scissor lifts
· Willingness to help other departments as assigned.
