Entertainments Fright Nights Team Leader
**What you'll bring to the team** In this role you will support the Entertainments Department in supervising and driving the department standards and vision including day-to-day duty managing, operationally driving standards, and consistently motivating the Fright Nights Performers towards delivering compelling entertainment. Fright Nights Team Leaders will also be required to effectively manage a team within the Entertainments Department, ensuring their conduct and performance standards align with the department standards and that Health & Safety procedures are always followed. Key Accountabilities + To take on the role of line manager to a designated cast of Fright Nights Performers, being accountable for the operational, health & safety, people management and guest experience standards of their direct reports & Entertainments offering. + To take on the daily running of a designated Fright Nights Attraction (Maze, Show or Roaming offering) and have a strong presence on the Park; being accountable for the daily operation spanning from attraction utilisation, guest obsession and the coaching of team members. + To assist with basic department/team related admin tasks. + To ensure compliance is upheld in line with Park standards: cross-checking & scanning paperwork. + To complete Performer timesheets and work closely with the Central Planning Team to ensure performer availability aligns with daily staffing levels. + To supervise and maintain high conduct and role performance standards within all Entertainments offerings whilst being a role model for the Park and departmental standards. + To ensure that health & safety standards are a primary focus, and that all team members are trained and assessed on their roles as per CoSWP and other procedural standards. + To manage team members’ conduct and job performance throughout the Fright Nights Event, providing coaching and development with a focus on recognising good performance, providing constructive feedback, and managing poor performance where necessary. + To take on the eye of the guests in terms of the Entertainments offering, ensuring that the consistency of performance, safety and operational running is optimal at all times. **Qualifications & Experience** + Have strong communication and time management skills + Have experience in people managing/managing stakeholders + Have strong operational knowledge + Have duty manager/relevant experience + Have an awareness of theme park daily operation and the Entertainments industry. **Benefits** + Merlin Magic Pass: 20 free tickets for you, your family and friends to enjoy all of our Merlin Attractions across the world! + 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants + 40% discount online off LEGO, and much more!  + Free bus from Staines station for all employees   + Fortnightly pay + Free staff parking + Ongoing training & development to have a longer-term career in Merlin  + Access to Perks at Work which 30,000+ national & local employee discounts If you have any questions or if you require any reasonable adjustments, because of a disability or medical condition, please contact us by email at recruitment@thorpe-park.co.uk and one of the team will get back to you as soon as possible. **Pay Range** GBP £13.00/Hr.
