Enity Finance Manager Sweden

 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Entity Finance Manager - Sweden to join our Scandinavian Finance Team, supporting our operations for the Swedish entity.

This is a key role within the Scandinavian cluster, based in central Stockholm, offering exposure to multiple markets, functions, and cross-border projects in a truly international environment.

As Entity Finance Manager, you will ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial operations, while acting as a strategic finance partner — providing insights, analysis, and recommendations that help drive business decisions and operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with other JTI locations, Global Business Services (GBS), Tax, Compliance, and FP&A teams.

 

Position:

 

As the Entity Finance Manager, Sweden you will: 

 

Lead finance activities for Sweden, including but not limited to:

Lead month-end, year-end, statutory, and internal reporting processes, including preparation of periodic statutory financial statements (BS/P&L/Cash Flow) in K3 and periodic internal reporting to the HQ in IFRS. Be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and analytical review of entity financial statements, linking results to business drivers and performance trends. Act as a finance business partner, collaborate with FP&A supporting the local management team with data-driven insights and decision support. Collaborate with and support the Tax Manager on internal tax reporting, local transfer pricing documentation, VAT, corporate income tax, and other cross-border reporting requirements. Coordinate with GBS on day-to-day bookkeeping, payments, cash collections, billing, and other routine finance activities, ensuring accurate and timely booking of accruals throughout the year. Collaborate with GBS and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate transactional processing, including AR, AP, and PO-related inquiries. Manage entity planning (budget, outlook, and forecasts at entity level). Oversee local financial processes, policies, and controls (JSOX), ensuring effective, compliant operations and strong internal controls. Ensure compliance with tax, audit (internal and external), and legal requirements. Ensure proper filing, archiving, and referencing of all company records.

Support Scandinavia Entity Finance Lead Manager with strategic finance initiatives, process improvements, and business-driven projects.

Serve as a point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.

 

 

Requirements: 

 

Fluency in Swedish & English (written and spoken) University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in an international environment. Big 4 experience is an advantage; authorization/certification is an advantage Strong knowledge of Swedish GAAP (K3) and IFRS Strong knowledge of tax: indirect tax, direct tax, CbCR, transfer pricing (knowledge of tobacco industry is a plus) Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems is highly desirable. Proficiency in Excel is a must. Solid understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance, knowing where the risks are Proven ability to collaborate across teams, functions, and geographies Strong financial control and business acumen — able to interpret results, identify opportunities, and communicate insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable with high ethical standards and attention to deadlines and approvals
