ENTITY MANAGER
Position purpose:
You will be responsible for financial statements, tax and audit compliance / accuracy & planning entity finance for balance sheet and Free Cash Flow (LE / SPC / ASP). You will provide accurate and fact based analytical analysis to support business decision making of the local management and you will Monitor and report financial performance for the entity and propose timely corrective actions in order to achieve financial targets while ensuring an adequate control environment and in full compliance with all corporate and local requirements.
What will you do – responsibilities:
• Financial Statements:
- Ensure Accounting compliance for Local / IFRS & Tax ledgers.
- Ensure correctness of Books and Records for IFRS / Local & Tax Statutory, through local activities.
- Ensure appropriate compliance to all Global guidelines including the correct accounting treatment and mapping of all costs and revenue.
- Ensure effective implementation of any system changes in order to comply with the legislation.
- Monitor month end closing in IFRS / Local & Tax Statutory. Report results and analysis to management & authorities as appropriate.
• Audit and compliance reviews:
- Coordinate and prepare documentation for external and internal audits. Ensure operating guidelines are followed in all the areas of responsability : Accounting, Tax & Treasury.
- Company tax preparation in coordination with external consultants.
- Local SPOC for internal control
• Actively participate in local planning and budgeting processes (OL, LE, SPC & ASP). Responsible for preparing entity balance sheet (AR / AP) and FCF planning and variance analysis.
• Plan and obtain the necessary company cash flow, optimising at all times the available resources following the criteria determined by Management. Preparing and monitoring on cash flow indicators (DSO and DDSO):
- Responsible for credit management and close monitoring of AR / AP evolution and propose corrective mesures if necessary
- Manage, negotiate, control and obtain bank guarantees with banks and government authorities (basically customs) to ensure the normal running of operations within the framework of company budgets. Inbound / Outbound customs tax deposit sign-off.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives:
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
- Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
Who are we looking for – requirements:
• University degree in Finance, Economy or Business Administration.
• 3 years Entity Finance experience preferably in multionational FMCG Company, Internal control & Auditing or relevant areas.
• English (CAE Level), Spanish Native /C2 and Catalan (desirable).
• SAP R3/Hana knowledge, Power BI is a plus. Advanced Excel, Advanced Power Point
• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards and reporting principles. Good analytical mind, interpreting skills. Management of Financial Resources, Analysis & Problem solving, Planning, budgeting & Forecasting, management reporting, technical accounting, interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills
