Entry Level Behavioral Health Clinician – Outpatient

Provides case management services to severely emotionally impaired behavioral health clients in order to meet the individual needs of the clients and coordinate treatment, assisting the client with achieving the best possible functional level, maximizing symptom self-management and enhancing quality of life and recovery.  Emphasis is on in-clinic groups, coordination of individual care and support of residential placements.

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related mental health discipline with an emphasis on clinical experience. Must be CPR certified.

 

PREFERRED:

Prior clinical experience providing outpatient mental health or inpatient psychiatric services. Demonstrated knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation principles as applied to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Certification in CPRP (Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner) Certification in NCC (National Certified Counselor) Certification in CPS (Certified Peer Specialist)
