We are looking for data center technicians to install cable and fiber for data centers located in Richmond,VA Responsibilities: + Install cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber runners, containment, and trunks in a data center environment. + Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure. + Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement. + Provide structured feedback on project progress to stakeholders. + Exhibit quality workmanship and maintain data center cleanliness. + Follow all production, safety, and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. + Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles. + Read and comprehend blueprints and building documentation/redline work. + Maintain a broad understanding of data center infrastructure technologies. Skills: + Cable installation + Data center infrastructure + Structured cabling + CATV + Access control + Telecommunications + Cabling (Cat5, Cat6) + Cable pulling Top Skills: + Cable installation + Data center infrastructure + Structured cabling + CATV + Access control + Telecommunications Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Strong work ethic. + Willingness to train individuals with no cabling experience who are eager to learn the trade. + Familiarity with data center procedures (e.g., physical security, decommissioning, logistics) is preferred. + Some cabling experience is ideal. + Ability to handle tough work and a strong interest in learning the trade.
