ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB’s South Burlington, VT office is seeking an Entry level Civil Engineer to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to work on our diverse portfolio of energy, water resources, and land development projects.

 

Responsibilities

Work within an integrated team of engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects in developing engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of public and private infrastructure projects with a focus on sustainability and resiliencyCivil engineering for ski resort, urban development, renewable energy, and municipal infrastructure projects.Preparing associated plans and reports and permit applications

Skills and Attributes

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsComfortable working independently as well as on a teamAbility to work in an office or virtual environmentDetail oriented, self-motivated, and committedCritical thinking and problem solving

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering 0-1 years of professional civil engineering experienceAutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience is a plusExperience with GIS systems is a plus
