The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions. **Required Education/Experience** + Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university + The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel + Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite + Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship **Desired Education/Experience** + Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying + Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable + Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired Base Salary Range: $68,000-$80,000 per year POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is a global consulting environmental and engineering firm and one of the top design firms in the energy sector.
