Job Title: Entry Level Controls Engineer
Job Description

Responsibilities:- PLC and HMI programming (equipment is mostly Siemens SIMATIC and smaller percentage is the person to equipment breakdowns and investigate and troubleshoot issues- Manage and breakdown problems into items for validation- Implement and program vision control systems- Continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery- Reprogram equipment for engineering changes and improvements- Program new installations of automation, machinery, material handling, and robots- Read and modify electrical prints and schematics (AutoCAD)- Work overtime and weekends as needed

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1 Year(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in BROOKPARK, OH.

Work Environment

Overtime is expected, averaging 5 to 10 hours per week, and occasional weekend work too. Additional OT is always up for grabs for someone who wants to work more hours and make more money. Shift will be changing a few months from now, candidate must be interested in both models.Candidates MUST be open to all shifts - these spots will likely both be Midnight Shift - they will train on Day shift for a few weeks, and then be moved.Current 3 shift model: Day Shift is 6 AM to 2 PM, Afternoon Shift is 2 PM to 10 PM, and Midnight Shift is 10 PM to 6 AM.Future Crew shift model: 4 Days on, 3 Days off, 3 Days on, 4 Days off, rotating. 2 Crews each working 12 hour shifts, 6 AM to 6 PM, and 6 PM to 6 AM. This allows for longer periods of time off in between working.
