POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Distribution Designer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe qualified candidate will learn and become familiar with the basic concepts of utility electrical systems and will be able to apply their knowledge in developing new distribution overhead and underground designsCompilation of design packages for constructionPerform quality reviews of project deliverablesOccasional field data collectionRequired Education/ExperienceAbility to learn and use design software packages efficiently, retain and apply on the job trainingAbility to learn utility standardsAbility to work effectively in design teamsSelf-motivated to perform assigned tasks and take the initiative to learn the tradeSome travel should be expectedMust be able to successfully pass client's background screening processMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordThe successful applicant must also demonstrate the following:
