Entry-Level Distribution Engineer

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Distribution Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Tyler, Texas. 

Job Summary of Roles and ResponsibilitiesEntry-level position entails performing distribution design, basic engineering calculations, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clientsDistribution design typically includes, but not limited to, physical design, electrical design, and developing a bill of materialsRequired Education/ExperienceEngineering degree, from an ABET-accredited university, preferably with a power optionThe candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnelStrong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering upon which to buildMust be able to successfully pass client's background screening processMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordDesired Education/ExperienceA BSEE or BSEET degree, from an ABET-accredited university, preferably with a power optionA basic understanding of overhead and underground distribution circuitsEngineer in Training certificate (EIT) or ability to obtain one upon hiringInternship or co-op experience with a utilityManage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalitiesTravel should be expected
