Entry Level Engineer (Power Distribution)

Actalent is seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join a growing team. Would be focusing on power distribution projects all across the United States. The right candidate will have their engineering degree from an accredited program.

Job Description:

Provide detailed engineering, design and planning assessments and recommendationsEvaluate system operations, and provide project scope development for overhead and underground utility systemsEvaluate electrical power systems and design overhead/underground replacements per utility standardsDevelop/modify accurate estimates and engineering drawings using BlueBeam, AutoCAD and/or GIS softwareMeet with manager, engineers and colleagues to review status of each project and determine an appropriate communication course of actionVisit site plan to determine the condition of existing utility and collecting necessary information for each projectCoordinate ROW acquisition, planning, and design functions through regular project updates for schedule adherence and work forecastWork a minimum of 40 hours a week on a regular basis, with possible OTAdditional duties as needed and/or assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.0-1.5 years of prior internship or utility experience preferred. Knowledge of overhead (OH) and underground (UG) fiber optic and other telecommunication distribution means is advantageous.Familiarity with Engineering Design software tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
