Responsibilities:

Perform roadway design tasks under the guidance of senior engineersApply engineering principles on and in support of plans and construction documentsWork in a team environment to develop plans using MicroStation and/or AutoCADPrepare technical design documentation, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and specificationsReview submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documentsGain valuable experience in the design of roadway geometrics, intersections, sidewalks/trails, pavement design, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, and work zone traffic controlParticipate in job site visits and attend project meetingsInterface with other technical disciplines

Qualifications:

BS in Civil Engineering 0 to 2 years of experienceEIT certificate preferredCompetent use of basic software such as MS Office
