Job Description
This position supports the Interiors Studio and involves working on all phases of project development, from conceptual design to construction documents and construction administration. You will lead the production of deliverable documents through the Schematic Design, Development Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration phases, focusing on Senior Living and other Institutional Projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for FF&E selection and providing daily Client and Project Management. You will also review documents for quality control evaluations and ensure ongoing compliance.
ResponsibilitiesLead production of deliverable documents through various design phases.Focus on Senior Living, Multi-family/mixed-use, and large-scale commercial design projects.Provide project leadership and documentation coordination.Develop design drawings, technical documentation, and construction administration phase documents.Provide client and project management on a daily basis.Review documents for quality control and ensure ongoing compliance.Essential SkillsDegree in Interior Design or Architecture.Ability to work in a team setting.Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills.Fluency in Revit.Graphic skills and software knowledge in SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in architecture, senior living, commercial, and mixed-use projects.Experience in design and creating drawing sets using AutoCAD.3+ years of experience in production-level roles.Work Environment
The office has five studios with 75 employees based in Baltimore. The Interiors team consists of seven people. The work involves projects ranging from housing (multi-family and senior living) to commercial retail, restaurants, and international projects. The work hours are from 9-6 or 8-5, with a preference for an 8 or 8:30 start time. Employees are encouraged to be in the office four days a week with one day hybrid. You will work in a Class A office space on the 18th floor of the 100 N Charles Tower, which offers a panoramic view of the city.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
