Entry-level Land Surveying Technician

GPI seeks entry-level Surveyor Technicians for our New England offices. Responsibilities:

Assisting the field crew chief with all aspects of the daily crew workloadAssisting the office survey team with various land surveying tasks including AutoCAD Civil 3D survey drafting, project research, reducing field data, performing calculations, etc.Follow instructions and work orders from project managersEnsure that vehicles are supplied and kept in an orderly fashion, ready for duty, and care for equipmentOperate basic surveying hand tools and equipmentAbility to quickly learn the basic operation procedures of land survey and remote sensing equipmentAbility to safely raverse and navigate rugged terrainAbility to regularly work outside in all weather conditions in all seasonAbility to transport, lift and move equipment up to 50 poundsWillingness to travel out-of-town and to other states is a plus, but not required

Qualifications:

BS in Surveying or a Certificate in Survey Engineering TechnologySurveying experience is a plusValid driver’s license and clean driving record for operating company vehiclesCompetent use of basic software such as MS Office
