Volt is immediately hiring for a Entry Level Production Planner Assistant in Oceanside, Ca.
As a Entry Level Production Planner Assistant you will:
Assist in daily production planning activities, ensuring schedules are accurately updated and clearly communicated
Monitor work orders (WOs) and track progress to support on-time completion and delivery
Perform cycle counts and help reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels
Update and maintain planning data in ERP/MES systems or planning spreadsheets
Generate and distribute planning and inventory reports for cross-functional teams
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to resolve material shortages or delays
Provide administrative support to the planning team, including data entry, document management, and reporting
Assist with analysis of production trends and inventory data to support continuous improvement efforts
Participate in meetings to provide updates, take notes, and follow up on action items
Support ongoing process improvement initiatives within planning and operations
Perform additional duties as assigned
This is a full time opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field strongly preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in production planning or inventory management within a manufacturing environment required; 2+ years preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with solid problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical skills to review data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies
Availability to work 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Pay Rate: $22.00-24.00/hr
