Job Description
The Program Management Assistant supports the management of the Customer Focus Team (CFT) resources and support areas to deliver products and services according to client requirements, adding value to both the client and its customers. This role involves identifying client needs, negotiating implementation terms, and communicating them to the project operations team.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Program Manager (PM) in generating reports and analyzing information for client decision-making (materials, quality, testing, etc.).Assist the PM in monitoring project actions to meet internal metrics and customer requirements.Coordinate and/or escalate the resolution of operational problems when projects lack sufficient resources to meet commitments.Collaborate with the CFT to collect data for presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer.Coordinate the resolution of issues or extraordinary situations involving product shipments.Coordinate and/or escalate the resolution of systemic problems or processes in the supply chain.Coordinate and/or escalate troubleshooting for on-time product deliveries (OTD) with the CFT.Work with the CFT to analyze and respond to operational demands (Material Shortages, Can Do, E&O, capacity, plan shipments, etc.), and communicate this to the customer.Support the PM in managing customer relationships through regular reviews to communicate deliveries, open commitments, and overall account progress.Collaborate with the CFT to ensure compliance with targets agreed upon with the customer (quality, testing, materials, processes).Additional Skills & Qualifications1-3 years of related work experience (preferably in project management or assisting PMs).Bachelor’s DegreeStrong communicator Willingness to work overtime as neededStrong communication skills (must work frequently with internal and external customers).Leadership abilities.Work Environment
