ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB’s Watertown, MA office is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Assist engineers with the creation of new design plansPerform engineering design of highway, pedestrian, and railroad bridges and other structuresPreparation of specifications, reports, and final bid packages Calculate quantities and develop construction cost estimatesAssist in the field with bridge inspections (desirable) and load ratingsSkills and Attributes
Must possess strong technical skillsUse engineering design and CAD software in the preparation of plan documents Excellent attention to detail, strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsTeam oriented with strong capability to work independentlyQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 0-1 year of engineering experience and possess a broad understanding and technical skills in bridge designWe are VHB!
