Entry-Level Substation Civil/Structural EngineerJob Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

POWER Engineers is seeking an Entry-Level Substation Civil/Structural Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Substation Department in Billings, Montana.  

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of civil design for substations, including permitting, site work, structural and foundation design, and support of substation physical design and equipment layout. Occasional travel will be required.  

Required Education/Experience                                                                                A BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited universityThe candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnelCandidate must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorshipDesired Education/ExperienceMinimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA)Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveyingStructural analysis design software experience is a plusPrevious engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering is desirableEngineer In Training (EIT) registrations is desired
