Entry Level Supply Chain Rep

Job Description:

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our supply chain and production planning processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently generate and respond to MRP/MPS exception-based reporting systems to ensure timely definition of due dates and priorities for shop floor or procurement staff.

• Utilize various tools to review and coordinate efforts necessary to support required start and completion dates of components, subs, and top assemblies.

• Promptly alert upper-level supervision of unresolved capacity/material constraints that may impact the company's ability to meet customer's scheduled delivery requirements.

• Validate shop order packet data for accuracy and completeness, correcting as necessary before submission to the shop floor.

• Coordinate with interfacing departments to rectify system data inaccuracies that affect shop load and scheduling.

• Manage all activities related to part drawing releases and subsequent revisions.

• Review planning-SO traveler, ensuring all required items for travels are released with proper lot numbers for traceability.

• Prepare special labels for shipping in accordance with customer requirements.

• Generate packing slips with all necessary specifications such as serial numbers, purchase order numbers, critical paths, and X-ray numbers.

• Ensure work orders are completed as scheduled by following up with manufacturing.

• Adhere to prescribed operating practices, including QCI, MEP, and SOP processes and procedures.

• Participate in production meetings, conferences, seminars, and presentations as directed by immediate or department head supervision.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma

- Degree in Supply Chain / Business or any related subject

- 6+ months of experience (preferably in the aerospace industry, but not required)
