TEKsystems is partnering with a local company in Kapolei that supports the Department of Defense and other commercial companies. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Technician. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive training, a company vehicle, and all necessary tools. Job Description: + Install phones and badge scanners and upgrade computer systems. + Construct proper splice cases, including grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage, and sealing. + Perform work in accordance with industry standards. + Interpret buried underground and aerial telecom facilities in records, maps, and the field; make recommendations for changes in running lines or construction methodologies. + Maintain inside and outside plant records during installation. + Perform routine maintenance. + Recognize and repair route issues, including maintenance hand hole cleanup, and sign placement. + Connect wires and cables to terminals and attach/detach various hardware to wires, cables, buildings, or poles. + Respond to and participate in emergency and outage situations requiring heavy construction capabilities. + Ensure all work considers the safety of the customer and public and complies with governmental orders. + Work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions. + Complete daily production reports and As-Built documentation. Qualifications: + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. + Must be able to operate a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license. + Willingness and capability to learn new skills. + High school diploma or GED required. + Must pass onboarding and drug tests. + Must be able to work on-site from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. + Opportunity for overtime available: time and a half pay for hours worked over 40 per week. + No previous experience is needed! Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
