What You'll Be Working On
Assist in the development of detailed construction drawings for both underground and overhead transmission lines based on client and industry standards.Perform site visits and inspections during design and construction phases to verify design intent and to ensure installation is in accordance with approved design.Coordinate with internal and external resources to develop detailed designs and attend regularly scheduled meetings to provide update on the status of the design.Perform detailed calculations to support the design and create reports to clearly express those calculations. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.0-3 years of experience and a demonstrated interest in the power delivery industry through internship, work or applied academic projects.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Capable of reading and reviewing design drawings.Preferred Qualifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.Autodesk (AutoCAD & AutoCAD Civil 3D).Familiarity or an interest in learning PLS-CADD or other structural design software package
