Job Description
We are looking for a Truck Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that trucks are uniformly “road ready” in the shortest period of time. This role involves installation and preparation services for a wide variety of electronics including telematics, camera systems, ELDs, geo-fencing, lane departure systems, and more. This position is ideal for individuals with a mechanical aptitude who are proficient with hand tools.
ResponsibilitiesHandle drilling and bolt-on type modifications.Route and clip necessary wiring or lines.Perform light fabrication of affiliated bracketry to complete routing and clipping.Use hand and power tools for various tasks.Follow specific directions and supervision on most tasks.Conduct mechanical assembly, installation, and general labor tasks.Essential SkillsBasic mechanical skills.Experience in mechanical, fabrication, and drilling.Proficiency with hand tools.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in automotive service, construction, repair, carpentry, or finish work.Ability to use a tape measure and other basic tools.General labor and production experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in an environment that is not heated or cooled, with doors that open up to allow trucks to roll onto the line. While conditions can be hot or cold, the workspace is clean and organized. Steel toe safety shoes are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, North Carolina
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
