Description:

The Environmental Health & Safety Intern will assist with environmental health and safety (EH&S) duties at a manufacturing site. The Intern will work directly with EH&S Department to plan and conduct activities designed to support the site’s environmental health and safety programs, and lower EH&S risks and support a strong EH&S culture. Key projects will be discussed and agreed upon at the start of the internship and will include implementing EH&S program and process changes. The Intern may conduct and/or participate in EH&S audits to identify program gaps and evaluate risks. At the end of the internship interns will present on their work to the facility leadership.

The purpose of our Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for our immediate and future needs. ​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
