We are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager join our Supply Chain team in Kocaeli Suadiye Plant. Responsibilities Coaches and provides constant feedback for development and improved operation Develop staffing and skill building plans to build technical mastery Lead problem solving activities and coaches the maintenance team on process improvement Keep financial track of capital expenditure Ensure all capital expenditures projects are being executed on time and within agreed to scope and performance outcome criteria. Ensure the team capability calendar established and developed Meet the requirements of ERP Management System documentation related with in his/her area of responsible Meet the requirements of GEHSMS and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System documentation related with in his/her area of responsible Developing and implementing environmental strategies and action plans that ensure corporate sustainable development Taking the lead on sustainable procurement for all goods and services Coordinating all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy Leading the implementation of environmental policies and practices Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation Carrying out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organization’s environmental risks and financial costs Promoting and raising awareness, at all levels of an organization, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility Managing the development and implementation of an environmental & safety management system Coordinating public hearings and consultations on environmental and safety matters Managing relations with the board of directors, senior management and internal staff Establish & Embed safety systems & practices in the plant Ensure compliance with legal obligations and company requirements. Track and regularly report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives to Plant Manager Maintain the area risk register and ensure that risk assessments are completed for all activities with significant risks Establish requirements and provide guidance in PPE management To monitor that all accidents are properly reported and investigated by Department Managers as per company protocols, and that lessons learnt are shared across the Area and with others Prepare and coordinate the external occupational health and safety audit and the audit process. Monitor that audit recommendations are being implemented within agreed timescales Monitor safety performance through internal audits and develop proactive reporting system. Ensure that all employees are inducted, as per the safety procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering Proven experience in budget management Proficient in English and Turkish Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive environment Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities Skilled in coordinating and organizing design projects and teams Demonstrated leadership capabilities Capable of multitasking, working independently, and managing time effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
